Well, this is what I call them!
When I was nursing, a friend shared with me a recipe for cookies that were supposed to help increase my milk supply as well as help let down. Turns out that there's only one ingredient in these cookies that does this, brewer's yeast. It's kind of interesting how this works. When I had to go back to work at the brewpub, I had a heck of a time getting anything by pumping so I would eat one or two boobie cookies just before or even during pumping. If I forgot my cookies, I'd just drink a small, probably 3 ounces of stout or porter and it seemed to do the trick!
I've long lost the original recipe, I'm sure it's out there somewhere. I just used my favorite oatmeal cookie recipe and added a tablesthingy or two of brewer's yeast. Well, dark chocolate chips and even raisins or dried cranberries almost always made it in the mix too!
