Chicken chasing! « Thread Started on Apr 30, 2008, 12:48pm »
As some of you know, we have chickens and geese. Well, today Harry was doing chores with me and decided that it would be a fun thing to chase the chickens. Not in a naughty way like one would think, but very differently. He would do a few things- First he would pretend to be chasing them but run slowly enough that they could get away with no problem and sometimes wonder if he's actually coming after them or not. This was funny because, well let's face it- chickens look funny when they run! Then he would kind of sneak up behind them, stand so close his legs were almost touching the chicken's backside and say, "Bump!", making the chicken "Bagawk!" and flap it's wings before running away. This was hilarious! Then of course there were the times where he just wanted to pet and talk to them and they wouldn't sit still. Yet another reason that chickens rock, and they're a great backyard activity. Just ask Harry.
