How we began.... « Thread Started on Feb 20, 2008, 6:37pm »
I was inspired to create this borough for a few reasons;
1- I wanted a place to go to that I could find children's book recommendations with reviews from other parents who have actually read them and could give me their two cents.
2- I wanted a place to go to that I could feel safe and like a member of a community and share in this journey called parenthood with other Wisconsinites.
And 3- We've all heard "It takes a village" and don't we know it! Unfortunately, in this day and age, in our society, that's not always an option. So here's our village!
I named this community Sage Tree Borough precisely for what the words stand for;
Sage- wisdom
Tree- To me, trees feel rooted, strong, wise and draw a long line of life experience.
Borough- A self governed village (that may not be the EXACT definition but you catch my drift!)
