Finally! « Thread Started on Aug 20, 2008, 7:24pm »
After 2 1/2 years of co-sleeping, harry is not only in his own bed, but in his own room! I started with putting a crib mattress on the floor in our room and putting him down for naps there. Then graduated to bedtime too and after a few weeks of him sleeping through the night on the mattress, moved him straight into his own bed in HIS bedroom. Of course he's used to sleeping on our comfy mattress so he wasn't really sleeping too well on that hard crib mattress. I had a queen sized wool mattress that when folded in half, fits perfectly into his toddler race car bed with little bumpers on the sides. This is much cushier and he sleeps just fine.
